Austrian eyewear manufacturer ANDY WOLF and German hand knitting specialist Lana Grossa launch a joint collection of 6 limited edition eyewear pieces and a DIY knitting kit, the net proceeds of which will be donated to the Styrian children’s hospice Sterntalerhof.

The inspiration for the ANDY WOLF x LANA GROSSA eyewear and knitwear is as simple as it is surprising: stripes, stripes, and more stripes. The concept runs like a thread through each pair of glasses and each knitted piece. Each of the six frames has an inner ring, its own striping, so to speak, a splash of color that gives the glasses a completely new look. The striped look in matching color yarn “Cool Wool”, continues on the knitted pieces and challenges: each of the pieces is waiting to be knitted or crocheted. The 8-piece DIY wool set can produce a hip balaclava, hat scarf ensemble, glasses case, and for less experienced knitters, ‘knittedlieselt’ a glasses band. With this, the wool wraps the glasses and the customers around the finger. A knitting needle, crochet hook, and knitting dolly are already included in the set for many cozy knitting moments with ANDY WOLF x LANA GROSSA.
The glasses are available at selected opticians worldwide. The DIY knitting set includes 8 balls of wool, knitting & crochet needles, a knitting dolly, and matching instructions. Available from November in the online store www.andywolfstore.com and through selected LANA GROSSA retailers.
