Aspire Eyewear Introduces Frame Naming Contest

February, 2016 – Aspire Eyewear introduces its new social contest, #AspireToBe, a frame naming contest designed to encourage engagement with the brand on social media. Held on the Aspire Facebook page,, the #AspireToBe contest invites eyecare professionals and consumers to provide suggested names for one of the next Aspire frames (fall 2016 release). The contest highlights the brand nomenclature; models are named according to aspirational adjectives that express consumers’ unique style, or what they may “Aspire to be.”

One winner will receive his or her choice of a personal Aspire optical or sun from existing collection, and the winning named frame, when available. The winner will be selected by a team of Aspire judges.

Consumers and eyecare professionals are encouraged to share suggested names on the Aspire Facebook page, Submissions are also accepted via email to [email protected], and via Instagram (tag @Aspire_Eyewear) and Twitter (tag @AspireEyewear) using the hashtag #AspireToBe.

Launched in 2015, Aspire Eyewear offers consumers a “barely there” fit and feel. This next generation of eyewear was made possible through the use of proprietary SDN-4 material and advanced 3D printing capabilities. The philosophy behind the branding for this label is based on the question: “What do you Aspire to Be?” This message is carefully articulated in its personality-driven design for both men and women.
