Heritage is the soul of menswear. A generational dialogue between tradition and change, it inspires and provokes the evolution of male dress. For Winter 2020, Berluti intensifies and abstracts its own heritage in a free-spirited proposal for our time. Imagining what the Maison’s century-old archives – entrenched in expert shoemaking – would look like had they encompassed tailoring, artistic director Kris Van Assche stages an exaggerated exchange between past and present. The conclusion is eccentric: an electric reaction rooted in our moment in time when dress codes liquify and expressions amplify.Berluti introduces a new canvas named ‘Signature’. Created by Kris Van Assche and inspired by the Maison’s archives, ‘Signature’ motif blends Berluti’s new logo – taken from the shoe tree of the very first pair of shoes made by Alessandro Berluti – and a seal mirroring the undulating strokes of the iconic ‘Scritto’ – a tribute to the art of calligraphy created by Olga Berluti. The eyewear collection builds upon this new heritage logo, along with the iconic ‘Scritto’ and ‘Patina’ patterns sported on timelessly elegant frames.
Here are just a few of what’s new with Berluti for Fall/Winter 2020.

BL40015U – EQUINOX
This classic ‘Pantos’ style plays with different materials, having its metallic front enriched with a transparent acetate layer. Building on the Maison’s emblematic signature, this model is adorned with lasered ‘Scritto’ elements all around the rim and on its internal temples. The look can be magnified with chromatic effect lenses, imitating the Maison’s renowned patina. A timeless elegant yet fashion-forward silhouette.

BL40019U (16C) – GALAXY
The classic ‘Navigator’ shape returns with a fashionable and futuristic rimless mask. Bold
colors lighten up this model’s rims, contrasting with its metal structure, while the internal
temples display the Maison’s emblematic ‘Scritto’ pattern. Presented at Berluti’s FW20 fashion show, this model is available with mirrored lenses, bearing the Maison’s newly introduced monogram signature. An audacious fashionable silhouette.

BL40018U (16C / 16B) – LUNAR
This season’s most iconic look, ‘Lunar,’ comes in a rimless square shape. Its powerful tinted
rims build a strong contrast with the metal bridge and temples, while the Maison’s emblematic ‘Scritto’ pattern sublimates the internal temples. The ‘Lunar’ is available in Berluti’s new monogram signature on the lenses, making it a statement piece for a fashion-forward style.

BL40017U (90X / 20S) – METEOR
This classic acetate model captivates through its subtle rectangular shape. The metallic plate on the temple features the Berluti emblem, paying tribute to the Maison’s living legacy. The ‘Meteor’ is available with patina lenses and contrasting colors, inspired by the FW20 looks of the fashion show. A modern silhouette for a determined attitude.

BL40016U (45S / 66Q) – PULSAR
A bold square shape sublimated with a sculpted acetate front and temples. Discreet metal plates on the temples echo the Maison’s emblem. Besides its two classic options, this model comes in two color-contrasting editions with patina lenses, recalling the superposition of layers from the Maison’s FW20 fashion show and offering a bold look for multifaceted gentlemen.

BL50017U (016)
This rimless pilot optical frame offers lightness and sophistication. With its elegant titanium
bridge and thin temples, which bear Berluti’s ‘Scritto’ signature pattern, this model is to become a timeless classic. The frame is made of premium Japanese titanium, one of the highest quality materials used in eyewear.
