The London brand COVRT PROJECT – known for its unique aesthetic fused with functionality, technical precision and cutting-edge technology – arrives in Paris this week for the international trade fair SILMO.

The brand will introduce its signature natural satin black optical collection in Paris for the first time, with the new choice of ZEISS DuraVisionÒ Anti-Reflective Sun or BlueProtect (blue-blocking) lens coatings for plano lenses.

The Anti-Reflective coating option offers a variety of benefits including reduced reflection and excellent visual clarity. The BlueProtect coating is designed for people who spend a lot of time indoors and who are exposed to blue-violet light from LEDs, TV, computer or tablet screens.

The addition of these advanced lens coatings comes as a direct response to shifting demands of consumers whose habits, lifestyle requirements, and use of eyewear have changed. They add a further advanced technical dimension to the collection – and its potential customer base – designed to protect the eyes and help relieve eye strain whilst increasing comfort throughout the day.

The optical series includes the unisex square frame, MP3_Optical. This is a strong, geometric design with a bold futuristic aviator-inspired shape. A statement style with impressive versatility, MP4_Optical is a hexagonal-shaped frame with a high double bridge and a similar radical layered effect in the construction of the front. COVRT PROJECT frames are designed in London and produced in Italy with an impressive range of details created for long-lasting comfort. Features include state-of-the-art silicone nose pads with adjustable pad arms and temple tips with an innovative silicone band-applied by hand at the tips – to add extra comfort and grip and stability when worn.
