For the 51st edition of MIDO, De Rigo will be showcasing several gorgeous collections and many stunning pieces including the 40th Anniversary Limited Edition Police Sunglasses that celebrate 40 years of this iconic brand. We wanted to give our readers a sneak peek of what they will find at the De Rigo booth inside Rho Fiera.
Yalea
Sunglasses with a wide, square-shaped front piece and bold profiles, made special by the expert combination of different acetates to create a refined play of colors. The temples in golden metal are personalized with the ‘AY’ monogram.
Chopard

Every year for the Cannes Film Festival, Chopard celebrates the Maison‘s bond with the world of cinema through a special “Red Carpet” style. The main product of the 2023 edition is inspired by the ethereal lightness of lace, embellished with refined details and unique savoir-faire. These exclusively refined sunglasses feature a profile entirely plated 23kt gold and a special floral decoration made from 170 high-quality zircons.
Roberto Cavalli

Acetate sunglasses with a wide square-shaped front piece. The linear design is made unique by Roberto Cavalli’s iconic “Fang – Tigre Tooth” in embossed gold metal. The same element is echoed on the temple tips. This will be the main style featured in the next advertising campaign.
Police

This celebratory style ushers in Police’s 40th-anniversary celebrations. Bold and iconic, in keeping with the brand’s contemporary spirit, the eyewear is embellished with refined finishes and materials. This unique, limited edition style counts just 1983 numbered pieces, in honor of the brand’s year of birth.
The imposing square shape of the thick acetate front piece is made lighter by the double-bridge with adjustable nose pads, both made from titanium for a lightweight, comfortable fit. The decoration running from the front piece to the temples pays tribute to the brand’s iconic eagle wing symbol. The elegant blend of gold on a blue background, adopted for the lenses, is a hallmark of all the Police 40 Limited Edition products (watches, perfume and leather goods). The 40 Years logo and serial number are stamped on the inside of the temples, also made of acetate and titanium.
The glasses come in an elegant leather pouch featuring the “40” logo and golden metal elements on the sides. This is then enclosed in a special box designed especially for the Limited Edition.
