Dear Leader Eyewear: Helping North Koreans See Better

There are many eyewear Give Back options today. Most are for kids, education, vision and the environment. When we ran across Dear Leader Eyewear that is donating back to help North Koreans… well this is a first.  The new eyewear company is based in Denmark and this is what they say on the website: DEAR LEADER is a collaboration between Michael Aoun (producer and entrepreneur), Johan Stahl (film director and musician), Maria Stumbeck (optometrist and dancer), Kristian Riis (musician and entrepreneur), Nicolai Stahl (founder and creative director of Hjaltelin Stahl), Morten Kirk (entrepreneur and business angel).

There is quite a selection of sunglasses available on the site, something for everyone and quite affordable as well.

For those who don’t know, North Korea is known for their repressive government and human rights abuses.

Via Dear Leader eyewear can be purchased in the site or they have a store location available.
