When was the last time your checked your area’s demographics? Last Spring Pew Research came out with new ‘Demographic Trends That Are Changing The World.’ stating that the United States will not have any ethnic majority or minority by 2055, I thought it was time to check demographics.
While Trump is decrying the illegals coming in from Mexico, the Asian migration to the USA are rising fast and the Hispanic migration is slowing down.
- The Study goes on to report that Millennials are the most radically diverse group: 43% of Millennial adults are non-white.. And while they are on track to be the most educated generation to date, they have a ton of student debt.
- Women in the Labor Force: 40% of households the mother is the sole provider (2011).
- Two-parent households are on the decline in the U.S.
- One in 6 American kids live in a blended family.
- Middle Class is shrinking.
Aging population
Demographics can change fast, sometimes we get so locked in our little world, we stop looking at the bigger picture. Take the time to check your neighborhood changes and demographics. .
