Fantastic Phoropter Art For America Recycles Day

Phoropters, you can’t live without them and when they are old, what do you do with them? Try to sell? Donate them? Scrap metal? It is very hard to give up an expensive piece of equipment but some have successfully integrated them into art (see Phoropter Art)

For America’s Recycle Day our latest bit of Upcycling is this visionary piece of Phoropter Art by Rapid City artist, John Curtis. Called ‘Which is Better?” this old phoropter was broken down into 523 pieces! Note the way is its displayed with the larger pieces on top and narrowing down to small pieces.. look familiar.. just like an eye chart.
