Fun’iki Smart Glasses are an alternative to Google Glass, less expensive and maybe not as functional. The Fun-iki glasses connect to your smart phone via Bluetooth and utilized flashing lights of different colors to let you know about incoming calls, texts and notifications. Six different lights are customized to your specifications. You can also use these lights to help you live healthier, ie. take a walk, blink on your computer screen.
In collaboration with Paris Miki, a well known eyewear company and Japanese company, Matilde, the smartphone connected glasses will go on sale later in 2014 for about $150 USD. This might not be a bad thing for those thinking of breaking into the wearable tech and have issues with privacy.
