GPN Launches eyeTHRIVE

GPN Technologies announced the release of a new kind of online resource specifically for the eye care industry. eyeTHRIVE is a business solutions community that delivers free educational materials by ECPs for ECPs. These resources are designed to help eye care professionals improve their practice management skills, learn business basics, build effective teams, and provide excellent patient experiences.

The eyeTHRIVE community was created with the mission of making helpful, relevant business information freely available to practitioners. It addresses a crucial problem for many ECP business owners: finding reliable business education resources that relate specifically to the eye care industry. As one eyeTHRIVE contributor noted, “when eye care practices are stronger, everybody benefits; the business owner, the staff, the patients, and the industry as a whole.”

eyeTHRIVE also provides a forum for eye care professionals who want to share their experiences and expertise as Contributors. These industry consultants, practitioners and opinion leaders get involved by sharing articles, videos, and other resources with the community.

GPN has partnered with other l ike-minded organizations that want to get involved as well. IDOC, eyecarepro, ClearVision Optical, and EDGEPro are currently featured as Contributing Partners for 2021. “GPN has always been dedicated to providing exceptional tools and resources for ECPs,” says company CEO Ed Buffington. “We are delighted to be collaborating with these organizations to support eye care business owners through education.”

Visitors can enjoy “bite-sized” morsels, like the weekly “Meeker Minute,” which offers short collections of easy-to-implement practice improvement tips, or dive into lengthier, advanced business management topics, like the recently-released 9-part video series “Building Your Business for Profit” on improving practice cash flow which is now available on the website.

GPN COO and co-founder Evan Kestenbaum says “We’re excited to be publishing monthly industry trends that ECPs can use as benchmarks.” The “Industry Trends” metrics, which are also found on the website, provides basic information about national performance in the eye care industry. Plans for the remainder of 2021 include several more video series, each one focusing intently on one specific area of practice management. Topics to come include practice marketing, improving productivity and profitability in the optical, and engaging and motivating team members. Also in planning is a series of strategies for profitability under managed vision care plans.

ECPs are invited to join the community for free by signing up on the eyeTHRIVE website to receive exclusive content delivered weekly to their email boxes, or simply browse the video collections and articles. Industry professionals are also invited to join eyeTHRIVE as contributors and become part of this innovative new project to help eye care businesses and professionals succeed – and thrive.
