We are currently seeking an Optical Laboratory Finish Supervisor
Job Description
A qualified candidate will be able to:
• Operate and train on existing edging equipment (MEI) Training provided
• Develop and train personnel on edging, mounting and inspection
• Final inspection of both surfaced and edged lenses
• Clearly communicate information to staff as well as customer service personnel.
• Balance independent duties while providing support for others
• Quickly grasp the technical aspects of the Augen product offering
Job Responsibilities include:
• Operate and provide oversight of lensometer, edging, mounting and shipping operations
• Maintain other operational issues as needed
Qualifications:
• Optical industry experience required
• Minimum 2 year experience in finish and inspection
• Management experience required
• Bilingual with English as first language
• An exemplary service-oriented attitude
• Comfortable with computer programs (Outlook email , Excel and PDF files)
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States
