Is 1-800-Contacts going the road of Warby Parker? A new store concept ‘powered by 1-800-Contacts’ just opened their first Eyewear store called Lumen Optical in Kildeer, Illinois. We don’t think this is a Warby Parker, Want-to-Be, just the latest retail venture (i.e. branding) by Luxottica who bought 1-800-Contacts in 2014.
Interesting enough, while Powered By 1-800-Contacts a.k.a Luxottica, the eyewear brands being advertised are not just Luxottica.
