Smart Glasses are taking off and becoming affordable and fashionable. Vue Smart Glasses, launched on Kickstarter has more achieved their crowdfunding goal. Based in San Franciso, California, the start up is billing themselves as ‘the world’s first pair of smart glasses that are designed for everyday use. Offered in prescription, plano, and sunglasses.’
Using bone conduction, they stream audio, listen to music, use the phone, navigate, and yet still be aware of your surroundings. They even have a feature ‘Find My Glasses’. Best yet, the charging station is the case, which you just put in overnite to charge.
They are partnering with an FDA-certified lens manufacturer to make prescription lenses, including progressives, sunglasses and photochromatics.
