Michel Atlan was born and raised in Lyon, France. After becoming a woodworking craftsman and cabinet maker, he moved to Los Angeles, California, where he joined his two elder brothers in the fashion clothing business. With an eye towards the vintage looks of the 50’s and 60’s Michel moved into designer eyewear and has never looked back.
