A new Atlanta based Eyewear company is making a splash. Called Gazal Eyewear, the collection has been created by optician, owner Gazal Tabrizipour. Gazal had been intrigued by eyes at an early age, which lead her into make up application with a natural segue into opticianry.
Opticians see and fit plenty of faces and receive feedback on what looks good, what is comfortable and what fits well. It seems based upon consumer feedback the first collection is fairly simple with unique touches. Of particular note, is a modified cat-eye shape, with a peek- a-boo layer. That little detail changes a basic cat-eye into a flirty look for women.
For men (or women), this masculine square shape has a chunky outer edge, and the drama detail occurs on the stitched leather temples. The looks goes from a basic tortoise to a rugged cowboy goes urban look.
Launched in July of 2014, the first collection looks good and should grow. I hope they keep with the details that change the collection from the basic to a surprise.
