PAIGE Eyewear – Commitment To Sustainability

PAIGE  has launched their very first sustainable eyewear collection releasing this Spring. The new collection has launchedwith six (6) new styles; three (3) Women’s and three (3) Men’s/Unisex, each offered in multiple frame and lens color combinations to fit various style preferences. Every element, from the frames to the lenses, to the packaging, has been produced in an innovative way to reduce our environmental impact.

The materials used to create our new eyewear collection were all carefully considered to save energy and reduce waste. The majority of the frames are made from biodegradable acetate, which consists of 76% bio-based content, while the others are made from 100% recycled steel. PAIGE’s Green Nylon lenses are made with 39% plant oils and are also biodegradable. The metal hinges have been crafted from recycled metal, and our signature whipstitch is etched on the inner temples for anti-slip functionality and an improved fit. Each pair comes with a luxury case made from vegan leather that folds flat for easy storage while on-the-go, and a 100% recycled microfiber cleaning cloth.

Above all else, the team at PAIGE strived to create a product that would not only shake up the industry from a design standpoint, but also from an environmental footprint. Every design detail was thoughtfully selected with sustainability and style at the source. PAIGE  also announced they’ve partnered with One Tree Planted, a non-profit organization that will plant a tree for every pair of eyewear sold on PAIGE.com or in PAIGE’s retail stores.
