Several weeks ago as the holiday spirit began to permeate Style Optique, Eva Dave, the shop co-owner and owner of The Eyewear Styling Academy, began singing away to Santa Baby-playing with the words as she sang. The next day, for a bit of feel-good festive fun, she recorded their version of Santa baby on her phone.
As she put it, “Getting way too carried away, we then decided it would be a genius idea to put a video together- I mean all we had was our smartphones and the boutique as our set and studio – but who needs more than that these days anyway?! “
What started out as a bit of fun, quickly turned into a serious production and they ended up releasing tyle Optique‘s very first Christmas song and full-fledged music video.
We asked Eva if we could share the video with our readers and she was delighted to share. Here is Sam and Eva Dave along with their dispensing optician, Zoe Witham, singing their version of Santa Baby.
The video became such a sensation Eva was interviewed on BBC Radio Shropshire who played the video for their audience.
