Serengeti, the esteemed American luxury eyewear brand that redefined the sunglass market with its 3-in-1 lens technology, is pleased to announce a partnership agreement with Lifestyledesign, a design agency that will spearhead the design of the new eyewear collections.

This partnership deepens Serengeti’s strategic move from Lyon, France to Carlsbad, California earlier in the year. Based in Santa Barbara, California, Lifestyledesign is a world-class design agency responsible for the design of many of Serengeti’s historical bestsellers like the Geary, Boron, Spello, and Tellaro.

“Serengeti is a design-driven product-lead brand and this partnership reinforces our commitment to innovation, quality, and style. Lifestyledesign has a long history with the brand and we are confident that they will help usher the brand into a new era of American soul and heritage,” said Joe Freitag, President of Bollé Brands for North America.

Lifestyledesign will draw from its California roots while integrating Serengeti’s proprietary 3-in-1 lens technology to create new styles that embody the brand’s North American heritage.

“We are thrilled about our partnership with Serengeti. Together, we will continue to revolutionize the premium eyewear space by blending innovative design with Serengeti’s renowned lens quality,” said Marc Tappeiner, CEO and Founder of Lifestyle Design.
Other notable brand work under the Lifestyledesign umbrella includes Patagonia, Bushnell, and Hp.

  1. Serengeti has lost their way by deviating from iconic styles such as the Velocity. Further, making non mineral glass lens (Saturn), tells you that the company has lost track what made them icons of the past. Good luck.
