The McGee Group, a family-owned, American eyewear company specializing in the design and production of eyewear, sunglasses, readers, and cases is proud to announce the release of the first Ducks Unlimited Manufactured in USA Collection.
This line of frames was produced at The McGee Group’s Marietta facility and is part of the company’s broader commitment to producing more of its product lines in the U.S. The facility allows The McGee Group to invest in local workers, helping to grow the local economy, while also bringing crucial elements of its supply chain closer to home. It currently produces acetate products but plans to expand its operations to include the production of more of its brands in the coming years.
“The McGee Group has long been proud to be an American-owned company that generates designs for the American consumer,” said Matt McGee, Executive Vice President at The McGee Group. “Growing our manufacturing capabilities enable us to complete the American story. As we grow and expand, this will give us complete control throughout the entire process – from design to distribution – and bring greater certainty to our business.”
The initial Ducks Unlimited USA Manufactured Collection is made up of four models to start – Arrowhead, Canvasback, Clayton, and Muscovy. Many new models are being developed now for release later this year.
Arrowhead, available in Brown, Grey-Multi, and Olive, offers a modified rectangle eye shape with a subtle keyhole bridge, while the three-barrel hinge and tapered temples give added comfort.

Canvasback, available in Brown, Dark Green, and Gray, has a three-barrel hinge for added comfort with grooved wire core detail. It features a rectangle eye shape inspired by past bestsellers.

Clayton, available in Blue, Smoke, and Tortoise Gradient, features a rounded square shape with a thicker top eye rim and has a five-barrel hinge for added comfort and subtly tapered temples.

Muscovy, the final release of the Made in USA Collection, is available in Brown/Tortoise, Gray Latitude, and Tortoise/Blue. The larger eye size accommodates a wider variety of face shapes, and the modified round eye shape with a keyhole bridge gives a better fit.
