Virtual Trade Show Succeeds During Quarantine

MyVisionShow, an established platform that hosts virtual tradeshows and conferences within the eyecare space, has rolled out a suite of solutions geared towards preparing eye care professionals for the next phase of their business.

The founder, Charlene Nichols, reports that traffic for this momentous event has shattered expectations with over 1100 visitors in the first week alone. “We hosted webinars covering exciting updates from independent labs, new e-commerce solutions, telehealth advancements, and a wide array of tools that eyecare professionals can embrace as they reach to hit their stride through this transitional period”, according to Mrs. Nichols.

Mrs. Nichols states, “Vision Show attendees have enjoyed concierge access to the best independent vendors in eyecare lens, lab, equipment, and frame manufacturing. We have seen the excitement over the ability to get connected with favorite independent brands and look forward to future events as we grow.“

One of the highlights from the week was the announcement of ION– the Independent Owner’s Network which is a network of independent labs; My Friend’s Lab of Texas, Sunshine Optics of Florida & R & D Optical of Ohio. ION will begin implementing cohesive programs designed to provide national support to independent eye care providers in need of competitive solutions. The collective power of this growing network will provide the competitive edge exactly when it is needed to keep our industry balanced.

Another key event was the introduction of Rhinogram to the Vision Show arena. Rhinogram boasts a unique HIPAA solution and among their strongest features are two-way text capabilities and new virtual waiting room capabilities for practices in need contactless solutions. Their program was launched to the optical industry with a webinar that was well received.
